A passionate artist and scientist, Elijah earned his PhD in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from UCSB. He coordinates development of Delta Leaf’s technology in alignment with the long-term growth and operational efficiency goals we have as CEO and Science Director.
A former VC and startup community organizer, Saif has scaled various startups from ideas into successful businesses over his 10+ year career. A Mechanical Engineer from SJSU, he loves being able to help people improve their grows. He’s responsible for Operations and Customer Success as COO
A cultivator and grower who’s constantly popping and hunting seeds. With 7 cannabis certificates and currently pursuing a Masters in Medical Cannabis Science & Therapeutics at the University of Maryland, Michael’s a life-long student who loves learning about all things cannabis. He’s Delta Leaf’s Chief of Sales.
We offer services like genetic testing to aid agricultural producers by making farming More efficient, affordable, and eco-friendly, with the goal of expanding sustainable “best practices” across the industry.
Founder & CEO Dr. Elijah Spina met his original co-Founders Felipe Infante and Edgar Rodriguez in January 2017 at UCSB Startup Weekend. Delta Leaf then advanced through the 2017 UCSB New Venture Competition, taking home two prizes: the prestigious Elings Award and second place overall at UCSB’s 2017 New Venture Competition, sponsored by the Technology Management Program. Since then, they have worked to incorporate the ethos of Santa Barbara, the town in which Earth Day was founded, into the heart of Delta Leaf.
